Swim For Hope is SAFRA's iconic annual charity event.Since its introduction in 2011 by SAFRA Tampines, Swim For Hope has expanded to all five swimming pools at SAFRA Clubs, and the event provides an opportunity for National Servicemen, families and friends to bond through sport and at the same time do their part for charity. A new parent-and-child category was introduced in 2016 to encourage more families and their children below the age of 13 to participate.
In conjunction with SAFRA Cares, Swim For Hope 2022 aims to benefit people with special needs, both physically and intellectually.
On top of gathering donations and participations, Swim For Hope 2022 also strive to let people know about the people behind Swim For Hope: our beneficiaries, partners, donors and community. This year, we will be working with our beneficiaries and partners to provide swimming programs to children with special needs by a qualified coach.
To further pledge to our mission, we are also launching "More Than a Box" as a means for participants and public to contribute to our beneficiaries as an additional support other than swimming.
